Twila Tyler - Stylist

Bio: A graduate of the Fila Academy, a Paul Mitchell school in Glen Burnie, Twila comes to hair styling as a second career. A self described “late bloomer,” Twila says, “I always wanted to do hair, but chose to raise a family first.” After years working in various management positions, Twila decided to trade in her long meetings, crashing computers, and endless paperwork for conversations with clients, sharpened shears, and styling products.

Twila loves doing color and cutting long hair short. She enjoys the relationships she has developed with her regular customers who have become like family. With great pride in her work, Twila looks forward to making each of her clients happy. She advises them that it is never too late to make a big change in life.

Twila feels fortunate to have made friends across the world including Germany and Hawaii, during her husband’s military career. A graduate of Old Mill High School, Twila was happy to return to her native Maryland after her husband’s retirement from the Army. In her spare time she enjoys her four grandchildren, skiing, boating and crabbing.
