Sherene will celebrate her 30th year as a Crofton hair stylist. She has seen styles come and go and has watched Crofton build up around her. Her years of experience and commitment to matching the best products and styles for her clients have created many lifelong customers. Sherene spent most of her career as a stylist in The Hair Experience before becoming the owner in 2006. The Hair Experience is like her home and her staff is like family. Sherene takes great pride in her beautiful salon and talented, professional staff.

Robbie began his career as a hair stylist at Hutzler’s department store in Baltimore in 1981. A native Marylander, Robbie trained at the Continental Beauty School in Glen Burnie and is a former educator for Farouk products. He has also completed advanced coursework with the Graham-Webb International Academy.

Lisa has been a stylist in the Crofton and Annapolis area for 19 years. A graduate of Arundel High School and the Annapolis Beauty Academy, Lisa describes her long time customers as extended family. “I have fun doing this,” Lisa says. “It doesn’t feel like a job. I love talking to people on a personal basis.”

A graduate of the Fila Academy, a Paul Mitchell school in Glen Burnie, Twila comes to hair styling as a second career. A self described “late bloomer,” Twila says, “I always wanted to do hair, but chose to raise a family first.” After years working in various management positions, Twila decided to trade in her long meetings, crashing computers, and endless paperwork for conversations with clients, sharpened shears, and styling products.

With 22 years of hair styling history in Maryland, Susan has a customer base that includes multiple generations of families. A life long resident of Maryland, Susan trained as a stylist at the Chateau School of Cosmetology in Laurel.

Since 1990, Rhonda has been beautifying clients in the Annapolis suburbs. A graduate of Anne Arundel County ’s Vo-Tech program, Rhonda has been an advocate for Sebastian hair products, educating stylists about that product line in classes at area salons.

A native Marylander and Arundel High School graduate, Julie is in the last quarter of her two year apprenticeship under Robbie Hastings. Her stylist license is pending in November of 2008. Julie has been an eager student, learning everything in order to determine her niche at the salon.

In the fourth quarter of her two year apprenticeship with Sherene, Brittany’s stylist license is pending in November of 2008. Brittany began working at The Hair Experience in 2002 as a shampoo girl and is looking forward to her expanding career in the salon.
