Julie Toal - Apprentice Stylist

A native Marylander and Arundel High School graduate, Julie is in the last quarter of her two year apprenticeship under Lisa Thompson. Her stylist license is pending in October of 2011. Julie has been an eager student, learning everything in order to determine her niche at the salon.

As Julie builds her own client base, she plans to specialize in color. “Color is the most rewarding because people get the most satisfaction. There is an immediate reaction,” Julie says of her favorite hair assignments. When not working in the salon, Julie is a busy mom of two small children. They enjoy the beach and other outdoor activities.
