Devyn Collins - Stylist

Bio:  Devyn grew up here in Anne Arundel County and graduated from Arundel High in 2009.  She then went to Arundel Community College to receive an Associate’s degree in Business Management.  When it came time to choose a career she decided to do what she loved.  Because her mom owned the salon Devyn has grown up in the beauty industry and thought being a hair stylist would be the most gratifying and fulfilling profession.

While attending the community college for a business degree, she participated in a 2-year apprenticeship program in the salon to prepare for the MD State Board Exams to become a licensed cosmetologist.  She has continued her education at the Goldwell/KMS Academy and is working in their Master Colorist Program.

Devyn says, “I realize education is an essential tool to grow my confidence, skill and enthusiasm.”  She also understands how rewarding this business is; to create great hair for her clients and give them the self-assurance that they look great.  Whether her clients want to look professional, romantic, stylish or just well-groomed; it is evident Devyn loves her work, providing beautiful cuts, styling, color and highlights.

Devyn is the youngest of 3 girls. Growing up she has been part of the dive, swim, soccer and cross-country track teams.  Now Hair Experience is glad to have her on their team.
